When is Plisio the better choice?

Plisio is the better choice if the lowest fee matters most, or you want a plugin or a coin Crypto Merchant doesn't accept.

  • Price per payment matters most: 0.5% through the API, lower than our 1%.
  • You use WooCommerce or WHMCS and want a plugin. Crypto Merchant has none.
  • You need XMR or DOGE, or USDT on TON. Plisio lists them; Crypto Merchant doesn't.
  • You pay many people at once (automated mass payouts) or want a white-label checkout.
  • You want a provider with a track record and reviews. Crypto Merchant launched on 28 October 2026 and has neither yet.

When does Crypto Merchant fit better?

Crypto Merchant fits better if your customers use networks Plisio doesn't list, or you want documented payment links and webhooks.

  • Your customers pay USDT or USDC on Polygon or Arbitrum One, or pay in XRP. Plisio's docs don't list those.
  • You want shareable payment links, fixed-price or pay-what-you-want, without writing code.
  • You want network fees handled for you: sweeps, swaps and token payouts are paid from your gas balance, with nothing added on top for sweeps.
  • You want signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256, retried for about two days) and payouts any time, with no minimum and no Crypto Merchant fee.

How do I switch from Plisio to Crypto Merchant?

Sign up, go live with one payment, then point your checkout and webhooks at Crypto Merchant. There's no plugin to install: you use payment links, the hosted checkout or the API.

  1. 1

    Create an account

Sign up with your email, your name and your business name. We don't ask for identity documents when you create an account.

  2. 2

    Go live

Turn on the coins and networks you want, then make the one-time $25 go-live payment in any coin. It's credited in full to your gas balance, which pays network fees, and isn't refunded as cash if you close the account.

  3. 3

    Start taking payments

Share your checkout page, create payment links or invoices in the portal, or create invoices from your site with the API.

  4. 4

    Point your webhooks

Add your server's HTTPS address under Developers, check the CM-Signature header on every event, and fulfil orders on invoice.paid. Webhooks has the details.

  5. 5

    Wind down Plisio

Keep your Plisio account until its open invoices are finished and you've withdrawn your balance, then remove its plugin or API calls.

Frequently asked questions

Its homepage says “No proof of identity needed”. Crypto Merchant doesn't ask for identity documents when you create an account either.
