Waits are typical times from the network's block interval, not guarantees. Every live coin and network: coins and networks.

What does a 100 USDT payment cost?

Our fee is 1 USDT (1%), so 99 USDT is credited to your balance. The Arbitrum One network fee for moving the payment into your pool wallet is paid in ETH from your gas balance, so it doesn't come out of the 99 USDT while your gas balance covers it.

Network fees change with how busy a network is, so we don't quote a fixed amount: how network fees work. Every price is on the pricing page.

Which USDT network should customers use?

Whichever one their wallet or exchange can send on, as long as you accept it: the network has to match the invoice. Crypto Merchant accepts USDT on 6 networks:

Frequently asked questions

How long does a USDT payment on Arbitrum One take to confirm?
Crypto Merchant waits for 20 confirmations on Arbitrum One, which usually takes about 20 seconds. The invoice page updates on its own once the payment is confirmed.
Do I need ETH to accept USDT on Arbitrum One?
No. Moving USDT on Arbitrum One costs a network fee in ETH, and Crypto Merchant pays it from your gas balance, which starts with your one-time $25 go-live payment. If the gas balance runs out, the network fee is taken from the payment being moved.
What happens if a customer sends USDT on another network?
The invoice asks for USDT on Arbitrum One only. The same coin on two networks is not interchangeable, and coins sent on another network may be lost for good, so customers should check the network before they send.
What does it cost to accept USDT on Arbitrum One?
1% of each paid invoice, deducted in USDT when the payment is credited. There is no monthly or setup fee, and expired or cancelled invoices cost nothing. Going live takes a one-time $25 payment, credited in full to your gas balance, which isn't refunded as cash if you close your account.
What if the customer pays too little or too much?
If a payment is short by no more than your underpayment tolerance, it counts as paid. If it is short by more, the customer can send the rest to the same address or get a refund of what they sent, less the refund's network fee. If they overpay by more than $5, they can withdraw the extra from the invoice page; an overpayment of $5 or less goes to the Crypto Merchant platform pool and isn't returned.
Can I be paid out in another coin?
Yes. Pay out USDT to an address you save for it, or have your balance swapped into one holding coin first. Swap rates are based on live market prices and include a service margin. The network fee for a USDT payout is paid from your gas balance.
Do I need ID documents to start?
We don't ask for identity documents when you create an account: you sign up with an email address and a business name, from any country. The Terms of Service still apply, including the businesses and uses they prohibit.
