| Network fee for moving the coins | Paid in SOL from your gas balance, with nothing added for sweeps. If the gas balance runs out, it's taken from the payment being moved. |
| Sent on another network | May be lost for good. Customers must send USDC on Solana, as the invoice shows. |
What does a 100 USDC payment cost?
Our fee is 1 USDC (1%), so 99 USDC is credited to your balance. The Solana network fee for moving the payment into your pool wallet is paid in SOL from your gas balance, so it doesn't come out of the 99 USDC while your gas balance covers it.
Network fees change with how busy a network is, so we don't quote a fixed amount: how network fees work. Every price is on the pricing page.
Which USDC network should customers use?
Whichever one their wallet or exchange can send on, as long as you accept it: the network has to match the invoice. Crypto Merchant accepts USDC on 6 networks:
| Network | Token standard | Network fees paid in | Confirmations | Typical wait |

Network fees differ between networks and change with demand, so this table doesn't list amounts. Crypto network fees explained covers what each fee is and who pays it. You choose the networks you accept in the portal, and customers see only the ones you turn on.
